Bonté Foods is one of Atlantic Canada’s fastest growing and most diversified food manufacturing facilities. From our early beginnings in 1977 when Bonté Foods produced primarily donair meat, gyros meat, pita bread and pizza sauces, we have grown, through several expansions to a 66,000 sq. ft. federally inspected, HAACP certified manufacturing facility with four thriving divisions producing over 300 food products. Bonté Foods Limited began operating in 1977 under the name Greco Donair Foods Limited. Its main purpose was supplying the growing number of Greco Donair restaurants with donair and pizza products. As donair products became more popular, Greco Donair Foods began to produce & sell these products across Atlantic Canada.
Bonté Foods Limited now sells its products from coast to coast. The product list has grown to include donair meat products, pepperoni pita bread, bagels, donair & pizza sauces as well as other products, made right here in our federally inspected Dieppe, New Brunswick plant.
Bonté products of some form can be found in most retail grocery chains in Canada. Having recently undergone our fourth expansion, Bonté Foods employs 175 people.
Here at Bonté, we are looking forward to an exciting future. Our new $1.5 million, 10,000 sq.ft. expansion of our freezer & bakery is a direct result of a successful drive to expand the sales base with new products. In particular, Bonté Donair Gyros meat cones and spiced meat loaves are a major part of the company's product line.
